The LAGOON KIDS Day Camp (€310) is a week-long day camp for children aged 3–5, running Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:30, without overnight accommodation. Designed with a “learn-by-doing” approach, the camp introduces even the youngest participants to Voga alla Veneta, the traditional Venetian rowing style. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, children safely learn to handle an oar, develop balance, coordination, and teamwork, and enjoy the excitement of being on the water.
The camp emphasizes a strong connection with nature, allowing children to explore the Venetian lagoon through safe water play, outdoor games, and age-appropriate workshops. Participants learn about local flora, fauna, and lagoon ecosystems, fostering curiosity, respect for the environment, and an early understanding of the delicate balance of nature.
Daily activities combine active play, skill-building, and creative learning. Children participate in sports, group games, and water activities, while workshops encourage imagination, social interaction, and cooperative learning. The week culminates in a special rowing experience along the Grand Canal, providing a memorable and safe introduction to Venice from the water.
All participants receive a Venetian Rowing Camp kit including a T-shirt, cap, and backpack. The camp ensures full supervision and safety, giving children a fun, educational, and immersive introduction to Venetian traditions and lagoon life.
