The
Overnight in Venice (€145 / 2 days) offers children and teens aged 6–17 an immersive, two-day adventure that combines sports, culture, and outdoor learning in the Venetian lagoon. Participants experience
Voga alla Veneta, the traditional Venetian rowing style, navigating wooden rowboats under the guidance of experienced local instructors. This hands-on approach develops coordination, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for Venice’s centuries-old maritime heritage.
The overnight stay on
Sant’Erasmo, often called the “Vegetable Garden of Venice,” allows campers to connect closely with nature. Participants explore the island, learning about lagoon ecosystems, local flora and fauna, and sustainable practices. Workshops and hands-on activities foster environmental awareness, teamwork, and respect for the natural environment, while games and challenges encourage cooperation and social engagement.
Cultural immersion is a core part of the experience. Campers take part in workshops highlighting Venetian crafts, gondolier techniques, and the history of the islands. Evening activities include music, dancing, and the possibility of a
beach bonfire, offering both entertainment and unique memories in a natural setting.
On the second day, participants return to Venice by boat for a
rowing experience along the Grand Canal, reaching the Rialto Bridge, followed by a guided walk through the historic city center. Lunch, workshops, and games round off the experience, leaving participants with new skills, cultural knowledge, and a lasting appreciation for Venetian traditions and lagoon life.
All participants receive a Venetian Rowing Camp T-shirt, serving as a keepsake of their short but unforgettable adventure.
